Oops! Zoo Pics...

OOPS!  I forgot to post pics from our Zoo trip over spring break!  These were taken a few weeks ago when Max was on "spring break" & we went to the San Antonio Zoo.  Max had about 15 friends with him to keep him entertained.  The day was absolutely beautiful.  

I kept Max in his stroller as much as possible since he is so fast at running off & with our large number of kids I was afraid he would get lost or jump into an alligator pit.  Poor little guy was only out of his stroller for about 15 minutes after our picnic lunch & he ended up running down an incline, tripping, & getting a HUGE owie on his forehead.  This was definitely the worst injury he's had thus far & it was pretty scary for Mommy.

Just like Uncle RyRy

We've always thought that Max looks similar to what his Uncle RyRy looked like as a baby, but Max also has a habit eerily similar to Ry too.  Since he's been doing it since he was a young baby we think he was just born with the same trait.  Max likes to stick out his tongue whenever he is concentrating:

Hoppy Easter!

We hope all of our friends and family had a blessed Easter.  We have had an entire week of Easter filled festivities.  It started off with a great church service for Palm Sunday in Landa Park with friends.  The same evening we had an Easter egg hunt (just so the kids could get some practice in before Easter Sunday).  

Max also started his new Mother's Day Out program this week, as well as finished his last week of MDO at his old "school".  So he had 4 days of school last week, which meant a nice "spring break" for Mommy!  On Thursday at his new school he had an Easter egg hunt with his new class. 

This weekend we headed up to the lake for a relaxing weekend, ending with Easter bunny gifts & a wonderful service at our new "lake weekend" church (the church we'll attend while at the lake).
