Wow! What a long & wonderful Christmas celebration we had this year. The weekend prior to Christmas we headed to the ranch to spend time & celebrate with BeBe, Pappy, Ryan, Laura, Adeline, Aubrey, Mandy & Chris.
We went to Christmas Eve services at our church & then straight to bed so Santa could come. First thing Christmas morning Max & Dean rushed downstairs to see if Santa had brought what they requested. We told them they could open their stockings, but they would have to wait to open presents until after Wyatt was awake & had eaten breakfast. That was a very long time to wait (we may have to wake Wyatt up next year!) The boys loved all their presents. Dean had been asking for this one specific toy from Cabelas for about 8 weeks before Christmas. We had bought him the exact toy he wanted, but Barrett gave him a different Cabelas toy to open first. His poor little face was so disappointed & sad. Look for the picture of the sad face & then the next one of the very happy face when he got the one he wanted. Wyatt's favorite present by far was a little yellow mini cooper. I can't believe it, but he can push his little foot down & make it go. An adult has to walk next to him & turn the wheel every now & again to steer it. But our little baby Wyatt is already driving a car! Grandma & Grandpa came over later to watch the boys all ride on their new bikes, scooters, & little yellow car.
The weekend following Christmas we hosted Mitchell, Stephanie, Hudson, Grandma & Grandpa at our house for some more celebrating.

Rub a Dub Dub
We tried a couple of times to take Wyatt's one year old pictures & kept having issues. First he was sick & then he fell & got a huge scratch across his face. Finally we were able to fit a time for him to take some cute little bathtub pics. Amber took them in our friend Chaedrea's awesome backyard. He had so much fun! I think it was perfect to have his one year old pictures in a bathtub because he absolutely loves bathtime.

Fall Family Pictures 2013
We headed to downtown Austin this year for our family pictures. Of course our good friend Amber (A Leigh Photography) was who we chose to handle all the fun involved with taking pictures with 3 children. It went about as well as we could have expected. Dean was miserable the whole time because he was having to wear pants that have buttons. (He absolutely refuses to wear any pants that aren't elastic pull on easy pants) We celebrated pictures being over with a fun family dinner at a restaurant with a playground.
