We went to Christmas Eve services at our church & then straight to bed so Santa could come. First thing Christmas morning Max & Dean rushed downstairs to see if Santa had brought what they requested. We told them they could open their stockings, but they would have to wait to open presents until after Wyatt was awake & had eaten breakfast. That was a very long time to wait (we may have to wake Wyatt up next year!) The boys loved all their presents. Dean had been asking for this one specific toy from Cabelas for about 8 weeks before Christmas. We had bought him the exact toy he wanted, but Barrett gave him a different Cabelas toy to open first. His poor little face was so disappointed & sad. Look for the picture of the sad face & then the next one of the very happy face when he got the one he wanted. Wyatt's favorite present by far was a little yellow mini cooper. I can't believe it, but he can push his little foot down & make it go. An adult has to walk next to him & turn the wheel every now & again to steer it. But our little baby Wyatt is already driving a car! Grandma & Grandpa came over later to watch the boys all ride on their new bikes, scooters, & little yellow car.
The weekend following Christmas we hosted Mitchell, Stephanie, Hudson, Grandma & Grandpa at our house for some more celebrating.
