Thanksgiving Program

Max had a small Thanksgiving program at his Mother's Day Out.  His class sang 2 songs & then we ate some lunch.  Max did great & sang & wiggled around on stage.  I was so proud!  There was early dismissal, so I was able to take him to see Happy Feet 2 before we had to go pick up Dean!

Thanksgiving

We had several Thanksgiving celebration this year.  The weekend before Thanksgiving we went to Barrett's parents house "Grandma & Grandpa".  On Thanksgiving day Barrett was on call, so we had a small celebration with just the four of us at our house.  That afternoon we had fun hanging out with friends.  Then we headed to the ranch for the weekend to visit "BeBe & Pappy".  The highlight of the weekend was Barrett getting a bobcat!

Breakfast with Santa

The kiddos got to have "breakfast with Santa".  Which basically just meant a cookie & a craft after sitting on Santa's lap.  Dean was not as big of a fan, but Max did great & even told Santa what he wanted for Christmas- a blue toy!

Christmas Tree Lighting

One of our favorite New Braunfels events is the downtown Christmas Tree Lighting.  It is just one of the many joys in living in a sweet little town.  Santa even rides in on a vintage fire truck to kick off the Christmas season.

November 15th

On Max's 'real' birthday we brought some special treats for his class to share- dirt brownies with a little gummy worm coming out of them!  I picked him up early & took him to the movies before we had to go pick up Dean.  Max got his favorite dinner- tacos!  & then of course we had cupcakes & presents from Mommy, Daddy, & Dean.  Fun day for our big 3 year old!

Happy Birthday Day

Max's birthday day included more celebrations.  Max went to Mother's Day Out & brought some special treats to his friends.  We took special "dirt brownies" including little gummy worms for his friends at school in order to celebrate his birthday.  I picked Max up from school early so we could make it to a movie before we picked up brother Dean.  Max & I went to see Puss in Boots.

Later that evening Daddy came home for taco night- Max' favorite, cupcakes, & of course more presents.  Mommy & Daddy gave Max a scooter & two costumes.  And Dean gave Max an Imaginext airplane.  Max loved all his presents & seemed to really enjoy his presents.

Max's Birthday Party

On Saturday we celebrated Max's birthday with friends & family at the Jumpy Place.  Max has been looking forward to & talking about his birthday for a couple of months and was so excited it was finally here.  Max is all about dinosaurs these days, so of course we planned the party as a dinosaur theme.  We had a great time celebrating & Max enjoyed his party.  Afterwards all of the family came over to open more presents & hang out.  What a fun day for our BIG 3 year old boy!!
