Finally getting a chance to write about our Memorial Day weekend. Between a trip to the ER & several days of our internet not working, & chasing around an 18 month old little boy who likes to run laps around our house I somehow haven't managed to recap this super fun-filled weekend.
We went to the lake for the weekend & had such a blast hanging with friends & visiting with family. It was definitely a weekend to remember. Max took his first boat ride for this summer (he went on the boat last year). He also went on his first ride behind the boat in a tube. Daddy went with him, but Max wasn't quite sure of the whole experience. Poor thing was a trooper though & really did well & didn't get upset. Max loves being at the lake & points & says boat at just about every boat that passes the house (which on Memorial Day was a lot!).
We got a glimpse into what it might be like when baby Dean arrives. Another baby visited the lakehouse (his name is also Dean!) & Max thought he was great until he saw his BeBe, Mommy, & Daddy pay attention to him. Then he didn't think he was so cool. I don't think he liked sharing the attention, so I hope we have better luck in July when our Dean comes!
We finished the weekend by making a trip to San Antonio to visit Grammy & Grandpa since Uncle Mitchell & Aunt Stephanie were in town visiting.
Pics from the weekend!
