Doctor Visits

We took Dean to his first well-baby visit the Monday after he came home.  I caught only a couple of shots because it was quite the adventure.  Dean has a very bad habit of peeing every time his diaper is changed.  So he ends up being a sprinkler all over the place.  This is not limited to diaper changes at home.  So you can imagine what happened when we had to put him on the scale at the doctor's office totally naked.  Pee hit the ceiling, dribbled down the cabinets, & puddled on the floor.  So then I'm carrying my naked urine soaked newborn through the office back to the exam room to wipe him down with a ton of baby wipes.  

Guess what happened when we took him back to the doctor for his 2 week visit?  He waited until we got back to the exam room, but basically the same scenario.  Dean's 2 week visit turned out pretty interesting though.  Max was born at 41 weeks, & Dean at 39 weeks.  So Dean's 2 week visit, is basically the time frame that Max was born.  Dean's measurements at the 2 wk appt- the exact same that Max was when he was born.  Dean weighed 8 lbs 5 oz & was 20.5 inches long- so he's already grown 1.5 inches!  Makes sense since he seems to eat all the time...  

Sorry this is so delayed, we've had a fun couple of weeks learning to be a family of 4!
