Beach Fun

Our friends Amber & David invited us to spend the weekend at their beach house in Port Aransas.  We drove up there early Sat morning & Barrett took the boys on a dolphin watching boat with friends.  On the boat they throw out a net & catch creatures & give demonstrations on what they pulled out of the water.  The kids got to see a real puffer fish up close & see it puff up & all sorts of other fun things.  At the end of the adventure a boat of pirates pulls up & the kids get to "fight" pirates.  The boys also got some "treasure" aka Mardi Gras bead necklaces, which Max insisted on wearing for the rest of the weekend, along with his new batman hat (Barrett & I kept joking that he looked like a rapper).  The boys loved playing in the sand on the beach, but must take after their mom because they did not enjoy the ocean water at all!  They had so much fun that weekend- thanks Amber & David for hosting us!
