Max's Field Trip

Max was able to go on a pretty awesome field trip.  The two kindergarten classes were asked to lead the pledge of allegiance at a special Welcome Home ceremony for a wounded soldier.  A soldier who had lost his legs in Afghanistan was built a custom home by a local builder out in Canyon Lake.  So on 9/11 there was a huge ceremony to hand over the keys & welcome him to his new home.  I wasn't expecting the magnitude of this event.  Someone handed Max a flag at the beginning of the event & he held that flag with such pride & respect the whole time we were there.
