Silly Science & Traveling Storytime

This fall was spent with several fun activities.  The month of October Dean attended a Silly Science class.  He was able to make goo, a volcano, a tornado, shoot off a mentos into a coke bottle.  I love the Park & Rec classes our town offers.  They are fun, affordable, & the best part is the messes aren't at my house!  Wyatt isn't old enough to participate yet, but he thinks he is in the class since he goes with us & watches all the fun.

We also went to the traveling storytime several times.  A local children's bookstore offers this fun morning.  We start at the store with a few stories read by a "professional" storyteller who dresses up to the theme of the stories.  Then, we head over to the cupcake shop to decorate  a treat based on the same theme.  We end at the art shop to create a masterpiece.  The boys both love it, but Wyatt has not always been on his best behavior so we are taking a little break from this fun & may try again in the spring.

Dean has also gotten to attend some fun days at Tough Tots.  He gets to run relays, play games, do obstacle courses & have a lot of active silly fun.  You have to be potty trained to attend, so we keep reminding Wyatt that he needs to be a big boy to go (trying to motivate the little guy).
