Soccer Stars

This year a miracle happened.  Max & Dean were able to play on the same soccer team!  Max was on the older end of the age range & Dean made the team by 2 days.  It was good for Dean to be on a team with Max & have his big brother support him & show him the ropes.  Dean would do great at practices & then not want to participate at all in the games.  About halfway through the season we had a rainy, muddy game & it made Dean so excited & he played great!  After the rain game Dean decided he could play soccer & would run & sometimes even kick the ball.  Max was our little soccer star from day one.  He had so much improvement from last year.  He scored several goals each game & was really focused on the game.  Both the boys loved their two coaches & I think it made for a wonderful season overall.  We are hoping Max can play for the same coach next fall, since he will move up with the coach's son.  Dean will be on his own team in the fall.
