Christmas was officially over. After our final celebration the Sunday after Christmas I decided the Christmas trees were going to drive me crazy & would have to come down before New Years. I had really wanted to wait to take the trees down, but Max had decided that they were his new "toy". I mean why play with all the new toys that Santa & others had given him for Christmas when he could terrorize his mom by pulling things off the tree, shaking it, & even going after the snow village. As soon as I could get Max down for a nap I packed it all up!
Max was given some awesome elf shoes as a Christmas gift by Barrett's aunt & uncle- Rhonda & Jim. I never would have thought he would be able to walk in these shoes, but he did & he looked adorable doing it. Max wore the shoes non-stop until Christmas was over (I wish I could send him to Mother's Day Out in January in them).
Christmas was wonderful though & we had an amazing time. We had 4 straight days of celebrating with family. Our family has been blessed in so many ways & we are very thankful of all we have been given. I'm so glad we had so many days together celebrating the joyous birthday of our Savior.
