This weekend was an exciting time at the Blaue household. Barrett spent a few hours on Saturday building Max bunk beds. Well, technically it was assembling bunk beds, not building. Max moved across the hall to his big boy room. We decided it would be easier to leave Max's old room the nursery, rather than have to move the furniture. So Max got to move to a whole new bedroom, complete with bunk beds.
We were really worried how Max would handle moving into a new room & sleeping in a big bed without rails. We had taken the front of his crib off when I came home from the hospital with Dean & couldn't lift Max into the crib while recovering. So while he was somewhat used to sleeping in a non-crib environment there was still a safety gate on his toddler bed. But Max handled the move wonderfully & really seemed to enjoy exploring his new room & new big boy bed. He has been sleeping great in the bed.

We've been thinking about putting bunk beds in Ryan's room, so you've given me some courage to do so. I love the set you chose and can't see the room all put together.
