Happy birthday to my baby Dean. He turned 1 on July 28th. He is still just the happiest little boy. He loves to laugh & have fun with his brother. Dean gets so excited when Daddy comes home & starts giggling & crawling as fast as he can to get to him. Dean loves to throw balls, stack things, watch cause & effect things, play with all of Max's toys, swim, & EAT! Dean can say Mama, Dada, Ball, & we think he has his own "word" for brother.
His birthday party was a blast. We had it at our house & had family come for the day. Dean couldn't have cared less about his presents- he had found a pen & didn't want to do anything, but play with the pen. Thankfully Max was more than willing to open presents for Dean. Once the toys were out of the boxes though Dean was more than willing to start playing!
Dean loved his birthday cake. It took some convincing to get him to eat it, but once he was given a few bites he went to town.
Dean also showed everyone he could take a few steps at his party. The next week he really got the hang of it though & now he's toddling all over the house! It's so cute to watch him try to get things now & follow after his brother.
