Max has been dying to visit the ranch, but with it being under construction it hasn't been possible. Every time he's asked about going we've told him the ranch is "broken", which is true since it's under construction. A couple of weeks ago Barrett told Max he'd be getting to go to the ranch- his response- YIPPPEEE! THANK YOU DADDY! Now, what I don't understand is why Daddy gets the credit?!?!?! It was Mommy who was driving Max the two hours there, Mommy who would be at the ranch for 2 hours without air conditioning in the middle of the August day, etc...
Well since the ranch has been "broken", Max insisted on bringing his tool box with us, so he could help Pappy & Ryan "fix" the ranch. Pappy wasn't there, but Ryan was & Max had a great time hanging out with him.
What is it with boys and tractors! I love his tool box and that he's so eager to be a little helper....now if only he'd thought to bring a portable a/c unit for Mama!
